When the growth of a city reaches its spatial boundaries, city becomes inventive. How can simultaneously to an increasing demand for housing within the own district space be generated? With key words such as ‚re-densification‘ and 'compact housing', current strategies are named which put a greater pressure on remaining free spaces. How can high-quality open space be developed close to the dwelling-place, which not only creates a distance greenery and fulfills planting requirements? According to this, we are looking for concrete planning tasks, such as the transformation of residential settlements of the 50-70s, the conversion of hitherto used areas, as well as the design of appropriate open spaces for migrants.
